The Church I now go to is not as architecturally beautiful as the one I used to go to many years ago but the new one is beautiful in other ways, thanks to the TLM and the people who attend it. And I never have to hear another heretical sermon, either, which is a major bonus!Tribunushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17330137792269530812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1062692702190792942.post-82046923013991532592007-12-16T15:00:00.000+00:002007-12-16T15:00:00.000+00:00Tribunus, I cannot but concur. This is a very painful experience because I am forced out of a parish that I love very much to go to a Mass that I cannot do without. It also startles me to be in this position. When I read your post I understand why. I thank God for all the men and women who have kept this flame going under persecution, many of the most noteworthy of whom were English. Present and future generations owe a great debt of gratitude which I hope will be honored by seeing the TLM re-established as the norm.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1062692702190792942.post-34534620513217134142007-12-14T17:10:00.000+00:002007-12-14T17:10:00.000+00:00Excellent. We had the honor of him being our chaplain for about six months earlier this year before being transferred to Florida.

A finer priest God has not called. May I take the opportunity during this holy season to ask you and your readers for prayers on his behalf? If there's to be a restoration, it is him and priests like him who will make it possible.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1062692702190792942.post-1406878521302213382007-12-14T15:13:00.000+00:002007-12-14T15:13:00.000+00:00Excellent letter and one that should go to all par...Excellent letter and one that should go to all parishes in the United States as well. One thing that "evangelizers" in the US nearly always fail to bring up, in their haste to bring Christ to the unchurched is the liturgy. I am hoping that with the derestriction of the TLM that good evangelizers will begin making the necessary connections between the Gospel, the Church, and the Mass and truly bring the fullness of Christ to those who truly need Him.

JaniceAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
